GJ & THE EVOCATIONS AVALIKUSTAS UUE SINGLI

GJ & The Evocations andis välja uue loo “Kolobotom”, mis on nende kolmas singel sügisel ilmuvalt EPlt.

Loo autor, laulja ja laulukirjutaja Gilly Jones kasvas üles Ghanas, kus kolobotom on populaarne hüüd kõikjal, kus lapsed mängivad. See viitab rõõmsale ja õndsale emotsioonile.

“”Kolobotom” is a soulful Ghanaian highlife song about getting whatever we want through the power of thinking,” märkis Gilly Jones. “”Kolobotom” is a song about the power of thought. I wrote it as a reminder for myself and everyone else that “thought is supreme”. Everything we’re going through now or that which will happen to us in the future, is the result of our own thinking. So, we create our reality through the thoughts we constantly process. “What you think is what you attract, oh!”, as the chorus goes!”

GJ & The Evocations on ansambel Eesti folgipealinnast Viljandist. See on unikaalne segu ghanakeelsetest tekstidest (Gilly Jones) ning noorte eesti rütmimuusikute koorekihi loomingust. Ansambli kõla eeskujudeks on afrobeat ja highlife muusika suurmeistrid Fela Kuti, Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, Shadow jt. Järgmine kontsert kuhu saab uut lugu laivis kuulama minna toimub 1. juulil Viljandis, Õues. Piletid on müügil Piletilevis.
